Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
75th Anniversary
2025 marked a special milestone for our school as we celebrated its 75th anniversary. For seven and a half decades, we have been dedicated to nurturing curious minds, fostering lifelong learning, and building a community where every student can thrive. We honoured our rich history during the special presentations delivered on the day. Our school library was converted to accommodate for a collection of memorabilia showcasing photos, stories from our past and present school experiences. Students, staff, families and community members and alumni joined us in commemorating this achievement.
Georges River and Beverly Hills Networks Awards Ceremony
On behalf of the entire school community, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Belinda Dewsnap, School Administration Manager for her outstanding service to our school community.
Belinda is a truly valued staff member whose dedication, professionalism and care have made a lasting impact on students, staff and parents alike. Her commitment to supporting every aspect of school life as well as her administrative management role reflects the culture of collaboration and excellence that defines our school community.
Belinda received her recognition award at the Beverly Hills and Georges River combined network awards ceremony announced by the Director of Educational Leadership for the Beverly Hills Network, Mr Clint White and presented by Mrs Jan Green, Executive Director, Public Schools, South Metropolitan Network.
Congratulations Belinda!
Playgroup
Our school Playgroup is a welcoming, fun and inclusive space designed for younger siblings of students currently attending our school. Held onsite, in our Liongi Havili Learning Centre, playgroup provides a wonderful opportunity for children to explore, play and learn in a familiar school environment while building confidence for their own future transition to school.
Through guided play, stories, music and hands-on activities, children develop important early learning milestones including social skills, communication, early literacy and numeracy foundations, and fine and gross motor skills. Playgroup also supports children to learn routines, build independence and feel comfortable in a school setting long before they officially enrol.
Mrs Blackburn runs playgroup every Tuesdays 9.20am-11am.
“We love the approachable staff and inclusive atmosphere at Narwee Public School. Our child is happy, supported, and excited by all the opportunities the school provides to explore new interests.”
