Student representative council

Student Representative Council (SRC)

At Narwee we have a very committed SRC body which raise funds not only for the school but for community groups as well. The Student Representative Council at Narwee Public School is formed by a group of students from years K-6 who are elected by their fellow students, along with the School Captain, Vice-Captains and Prefects.  One boy and one girl from each class are chosen in Term 1.

The members of the SRC will be organising events within the school such as Mother’s Day & Father’s Day stalls, school discos and several themed day activities throughout the year. All members of the SRC are a valuable resource to their class and our school as they share and develop their leadership skills.

Other skills developed include but are not limited to cash handling, organisation of resources, ordering of stock and prioritising needs within the school and community. We look forward to meeting with you and organising many successful events in the future.

Congratulations to the students who make up this years SRC – you should be proud of your appointment and the many highlights yet to come.
